Our usual work flow is as follows:

  • Full discussion to establish your requirements
  • Completion (by the client) of a simple form to identify your design preferences e.g. colour schemes, other sites you may like, static or dynamic imagery (e.g. use of flash movies) etc
  • Budget quotation for the site design
  • On acceptance of the quotation, Dental Media produce site “mock-up” images to determine the web site styling. We have access to many suitable images and can make these available for your use.
  • On acceptance of the web site styling, Dental Media build the site and publishes it to test web space – the client can view the progression of the site on the test space but this remains hidden from the general public.
  • Client submits web site content (note that we can assist with this where appropriate and make recommendations for inclusion of suitable key text for search engine optimisation)
  • Dental Media completes the site design following an iterative feedback process with the client.
  • Dental Media optimises the site meta tags (for search engine optimisation) and publishes the web site.
  • Dental Media sets up the client’s e-mail accounts and provides access to the users control panel (the control panel has full e-mail and web mail facilities plus web site “hit” statistics)
  • Dental Media monitors the performance of the web site for the first two months and makes any small changes to text content free of charge.

Management

Dental Media are always available to look after amendments and additions to your web site. However, unlike other design companies, we do not believe in charging a monthly “management fee” for services that you will likely not need. We do not need to charge for services like “e-mail management”, site performance reports or back-ups because these items are all managed automatically and available to you in real-time via your hosting control panel.

Consequently you only pay for the services you need at an agreed, cost competitive hourly rate. This way, Dental Media guarantee that your ongoing cost of ownership for your web site will be as low as possible.

We will keep an eye on the performance of your site and make any recommendations we feel necessary to ensure that your site stays fresh, easily accessible and appropriately positioned in the search engines.
